SECURITY FEATURES NOT LIMITED TO PAPER

Leading a coalition of three national organizations, representatives from the Physicians’ Electronic Health Records Coalition (PEHRC), the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), has revised a set of regulations to prevent tampering with printouts of electronic prescriptions for Medicaid patients.

As a result of the coalition’s efforts, The CMS has deemed the Digital Void Pantograph, a patent pending process from Arcis Digital Security acceptable for use. The Digital Void Pantograph which incorporates a hidden security word or image into the background of a computer printed prescription which can be easily integrated into large healthcare systems and small-physicians practices. The image will show up when the document is copied or scanned.
